The Gallagher Adventure

Times are busy as the summer months approach in the LowCountry of South Carolina. Temperatures have already ventured in the 80’s and the moments are passing where 70 seems like a perfect day.

Friends have visited and family is coming soon and our lives continue as efforts regarding our ministry in Mount Pleasant continue. We are truly blessed as a family to live where we live, worship with our spiritual family and partake in he blessings of God.

A couple weeks ago, Bobby Valentine posted his Stress Relief. I am stealing his idea and posting mine.

Yesterday, the kids got out of school early so we took a little trip after dropping Carrie off at a friend’s house to get ready for our Bible study that evening. The kids and I ran some church related errands in Mount Pleasant then took a trip to the ”stress relief zone.”

We have all had the discussion at a younger age of “My dad is better than your dad.” Now one of the major television networks has a show entitled, “My Dad is Better Than Your Dad.” In honor of those thoughts, “My daughter has something your daughter does not have — A PAYCHECK!!!!

Of course, Emma made her way into the picture.

What do Alexis Gallagher, Kevin Costner and Ivana Baquero have in common?

Are you still thinking?

Well, here is the answer…They are all in the same movie! Over the past few days I have been at the filming of a new movie called, “The New Daughter.”

Alexis got chosen to be an extra in the movie by her elementary school drama teacher. How cool is that!? Yeah, she is just a normal school kid walking through scenes in the movie, but a Gallagher has now been in a movie.

We will send out autographed copies for anyone interested! Who needs Kevin Costner’s autograph when you have Alexis Gallagher!
