Caleb Rides Again

After many trips to the world famous Wal-Mart, I finally remembered to get a battery. Caleb is having his first ride on the PowerWheels 4-Wheeler. He has learned to steer better since this was taken, but he needs to keep learning about when to stop.

On a good note, the boat project is being finished and the water test should happen soon. The floors have been installed and they will be sealed tomorrow if the rain holds off. The carpet is going to be put down later this week. All this will happen if the rain from Tropical Storm Fay stays away from us, but if not, we will be delayed.

I heard from a worker at Cobia Boats and he informed me my boat is a 1985 Cobia C15V. The maximum horsepower engine is a 70 and the max weight is 950 pounds. I am sure with all the foam in the boat, it will hold a little more. You can take a look at the progress using the links on the left.

A New Gallagher Project

August is here and the summer is almost past. The Summer of 2008 has been goo to the Gallagher family. We have been able to travel to several cities in West Virginia; Charleston, Nitro, Buffalo, Bridgeport and Queens. Some quick travels have taken us to Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach.

School will be starting soon and Alexis and Emma are ready. The girls are excited about beginning a new grade and making new friends. Caleb will not know what to do once the girls are back in school. His partners in crime will be gone for the day.

A new project has taken some of our time lately. While Carrie has been involved in the PTA for school, I have decided with some help to take on a project and see how it works out. Carrie and the girls are helping me so this is our new family project. Take a look and you can even visit the extra pages on the side and see what happens.

Here is the new project:
