The Beginning

After speaking at a church in the fall of 2003, I approached in the parking lot after services by a man who had just heard the lesson I presented entitled, “The Church and Vision.” When he approached me I knew he wanted to talk and not just offer a comment, as is the normal church custom. As he and I talked, he share his struggles and troubles about the situation he was currently in. The more he spoke the more I begin to see this man was struggle with what most of us really want out of life – to live well.
As he talked, he placed his arm on my shoulder and said, “Chris, what do I do? your lessons struck a cord with me today and I want to know what to do.” He went one to tell me he wanted to live well, but he needed a greater vision. His words cut to my heart and through my mind. Later that night, I contemplated what the man (now my friend) has said to me on that day. His words kept me up at night, but my mind was running world with thoughts of vision, future and God.
Later that week, I shared my thoughts with Carrie and told her that i wanted to help people more than I have before. She encouraged me to seek what I wanted to do and she would help in anyway she could. I remember coming home and beginning to sketch out the ideas behind what is now called, “The Road to Better Living.” I wanted to provide a short process to challenge others in their belief and actions. I began with page upon page, almost a large volume of work and I narrowed it down to 21 pages. 21 simple pages and vision and action.
“The Road to Better Living” is not an exhaustive workbook that will change your thinking, life and decisions in one day; instead it is part of the process of creating a better you. Applying the principles in this book will assist you in “creating a better day today for a better life tomorrow” and that is what I seek to do. I want to take people to a different level than they are currently living, but I can only do that my challenging your daily thinking and assist you in creating actions.
Take a moment and download your copy of “The Road to Better Living: by clicking the picture below.
It is free and the only cost I ask is that you begin today by “creating a better day today for a better life tomorrow.”
My passion is challenging people to a new level and I love talking about it. If you need a speaker, contact me using the information on the side.
